Volunteers will work in conjunction with our Guest Experience staff to enhance the educational experience for the visitors at Adventure Aquarium. These volunteers oversee the touch exhibits, share artifacts, and provide interpretation at the Shark and Ocean Realm windows. With experience, some animal handling is possible.
•Must be 16 years of age or older.
•Must be comfortable approaching and initiating conversation with guests.
•Willingness to learn and share what you know.
•Must be reliable, work independently, show initiative, and recognize the value of a team effort.
•Ability to Volunteer two full days a month (9:30 am - 4:00pm), by committing to a set day every two weeks (i.e.: 1st and 3rd Saturday, 2nd and 4th Thursdays, etc.)
•After acceptance into the Volunteer program, you must successfully complete the NJAAS Volunteer training course.
